We are so grateful for all those who came out to audition for Syracuse City Arts Council’s production of Newsies! We wish we could cast everyone who braved the audition process, but unfortunately, that was not possible.
Read through the entire cast list since your name may be listed more than once. Please email seizetheday71824@gmail.com to accept or decline your role by Tuesday, April 16, 2024. We look forward to seeing our cast at the first rehearsal/read through on Saturday, April 20, at 9:00 AM, at the Syracuse Community Center.

Everyone but Josiah Johnson, Shirece Baldwin, Crystl Naylor, Jon Talbot and Josh Chapman, your callback begins at 9:00 AM at the Syracuse Community Center. Please bring tap or jazz shoes. If you do not have either of those, please bring shoes that you can dance in. Those called for Katherine, please bring character shoes if you have them. (Those listed individually, your audition will begin at 10:30.)
Please plan on staying the entire time. We will release you as soon as we see all we need from you. If you have any scheduling conflicts on Saturday, please reply to this email. We know schedules are busy, and we will do our best to be respectful of your time.
The SCAC is excited to offer Broadway Bootcamp to our Jr. Theatre friends for our 6th year! It will be held June 17-21, 2024 from 9am-12pm with a performance at Syracuse Heritage Days in the evening on June 21st. Signups will be available on the Syracuse City Recreation Website on May 1st.
