SCAC Board vacancy

Syracuse City Arts Council (SCAC) has a vacancy on its Board to fill the position of the Junior Theatre Chair.

Among other Board duties, the Jr. Theatre Chair oversees the committees which support the Jr. Theatre programs. In the past the Jr. Theatre programs have included Online Reader’s Theaters, a Summer Camp Fundraiser, an audition workshop, and a Jr. Theater Production in the Fall.

Candidates for this vacancy must be a resident of Syracuse, UT and should have participated in the SCAC organization for six months. This participation includes, but is not limited to volunteering on SCAC committees, SCAC production teams, or being a SCAC cast member.

Board members attend Board meetings, which are regularly held the first Wednesday of each month. The person appointed will complete the term held by our previous board member through August of 2022 with the option to renew for another 4 year term at that time.

Please submit a letter of interest if you are willing to help continue our Jr. Theatre Program in Syracuse in this position. Send your questions regarding this vacant Board position and your letters of interest to the Board between April 26-May 26th, 2021 to info@syracuseutaharts.org. Letters received on or before May 26th, 2021 will be considered by the Board at the June 2, 2021 SCAC Board meeting.
