Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens
can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.

If you are still wondering where you fit in, here are some ideas…
The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra aims to perform the great works of the orchestral repertoire, and we’re looking for 70-80 passionate, amateur musicians of all ages to join us! If you’re proficient in your instrument, we’d love to have you as part of our ensemble.
Under the direction of Tim Koster, the orchestra is also accepting letters of interest for leadership positions, including concertmaster, president, vice chair, secretary, and librarian.
For performance dates or more information, visit our Symphony Page.
Theater Committee Volunteers Needed!
It takes more than performers to bring a show to life—behind the scenes is where the magic happens! From costumes and lighting to scenery, props, and staff for ticketing, concessions, and ushering, every role is vital to our success.
If you’re passionate about theater but prefer working behind the scenes, join our ongoing Theater Committee or volunteer for our summer productions! Contact us at info@syracuseutaharts.org to get involved.
Join the Arts Council Board!
Our programs wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of the Syracuse City Arts Council board. Their planning, research, and hard work provide the structure and support needed to make everything happen. We’re always looking for passionate volunteers to help year-round.
If you’re interested in joining the board, email your experience and current interests to info@syracuseutaharts.org.
